Bible and Bag study meets on Wednesdays in the library at noon. All ages are invited to attend this lively Bible study. Bring your Bible and your sack lunch.
Starting on May 27th, we will be studying I Maccabees. This book is part of the Catholic Bible, but not included in the canon of the Protestant Bible. Part of our first study will be to look at why there are two different Bibles. The book of I Maccabees, even though it is not included in our Protestant Bible, provides a lot of important background for what was happening during the time of Jesus. This study will continue all through June. If you own a Catholic Bible, or a Bible that includes "Apocrypha," please bring it. If you know somebody with a Catholic Bible, it would help us if you could borrow it for a while. Bible and Bag meets Wednesdays at noon in the Church Library.

This is an informal group which goes after worship on Sundays for a short walk around the neighborhood. The walk only takes about half an hour. All persons are invited to join in. Simply bring some comfortable shoes and meet by the parking lot door during coffee hour. In the warm weather, the church provides water bottles.
