Haley Corbett is now engaged to Jorgen Avila. Jorgen is in the Navy, and no date has been set for a wedding at this point. Congratulations to the happy couple!

The Ceresa's were thrilled to attend the senior recital for Shirley's graddaughter, Ashley Johnson, at CA State Fullerton. Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree and had the honor of singing the National Anthem at both her high school and college graduations. She will be teaching voice. Proud? Yes! - Thanks, Shirley

A big Thank you to FCC congregation for helping to make my mother, Nancy Fellers', 80th birthday a big success. It was a huge surprise to her, and it could not have gone as well without all of you participating. An extra thank you to the ladies who helped serve coffee, cake, and punch. And a special shout out to Janet Spencer. Without her help setting up, preparing food and organizing everything, I would have been a basket case! The whole Church family is awesome!

We cannot thank you enough for the lovely wedding shower that you gave us on Sunday. Whether you celebrated by sharing the special meal with us, gave us a gift for our new home, or were one of the special people who helped put together the special day, please know that you helped make the day and our engagement (as well as our impending marriage) wonderful. Not only did you all share your love with the two of us, thank you so much for welcoming our families with the welcoming spirit that makes this church special. Andrew's mother Jo Ann even said that she would love to attend our church regularly, if only she didn't live in the San Diego area. We have so many wonderfully talented people at our church who share the gifts for planning amazing events, turning those plans into action, and making sure that everyone is included in the fun; thanks for blessing the two of us with those gifts!
