Upcoming Events

  • Peanut Butter Ministry - May 19 - All youth in grades 7-12 are encouraged to come at 9:30 AM Sunday, May 19, to prepare the peanut butter lunches. During worship we will take them to the hungry folks downtown. If you can help drive, contact Pastor Vickie Firch.
  • Youth Swim Party - June 9 - Our youth will kick off their summer season with swimming at the Snyder's pool on Sunday, June 9th. All youth should come to worship that day equipped with a swimsuit and towel. The youth budget will provide a hot dog lunch and beverages, and the Snyders will provide the pool. After church, we will walk one half block south to their house. This event will include brand new 7th graders up through high school age. Parents can pick up their children around 2:30 PM at the Snyders.
  • 2013 SUMMER CAMP DATES - The N. California/Nev. Region has announced dates for summer camps. If you are a young person, you know this is the best week of the year!! Our summer camps are held at the beautiful Community of the Great Commission in the mountains near Foresthill. Please write these dates down now!
  • Chi Rho/Junior Camp - June 23rd-June 29th - Community of the Great Commission
  • CYF Camp - June 30th-July 6th - Community of the Great Commission
  • Grandparents and Me Camp (session 1) - June 29-July 1
  • Grandparents and Me Camp (session 2) - July 1-July 3
  • Sunday School classes

    Every Sunday classes begin at 10:30 AM for children 4 years old and up. A children's sermon is available during the Sunday service, with classes afterward. Nursery care is also available during the service.

    Youth Groups

    Chi Rho is for all youth in grades 7-8. CYF is for all youth in grades 9-12. The children meet twice a month for outings, games or meals.
    In addition to meetings, there is church camp once a year and other opportunities throughout the year for community, learning and fun!

    Summer Camps are led by trained, carefully screened volunteers. Summer Church Camps are held at the beautiful Community of the Great Commission near Foresthill.
